A permanent exhibition tracing four centuries of Danish maritime history — trade, longing, fear, and invention — at the M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark. The exhibition unfolds what happens when people cross the sea, pairing the museum's collection with newly commissioned installations, film, and fiction by contemporary artists, and asking each visitor a simple question along the way: what imprint do you leave?
